Vergiss Mein Nicht - Fanfare Band

Fanfare Band - Vergiss Mein Nicht is a song by Bach, by Georg Christian Schemelli added to the songbook named after him. Kees Schoonenbeek used this lovely melody in a variation work for solo and wind band. After a short introduction the soloist plays the song, seamlessly merging into a number of variations. A faster contrasting middle section, though further from the main theme, is present but more hidden. At the end the song returns with changed accompaniment. Solo for euphonium and fanfare band.
