Tre Pezzi per Banda - Wind Band

Wind Band – As the title of the first part (Tema con Variazione) suggests, initially a short theme is introduced in woods, which in the further course has several variations, before finally returning in its original form (first in brass, then tutti). When Pütz wrote the second part (Corale), he had no idea that it was appreciated so much by the orchestra musicians. Therefore he later decided to publish this part separately for both wind band and fanfare band. A pinch of Shostakovich? Bartok, Poulenc?, Or just Pütz? The last part (Scherzo) is all about the joy of playing, from the first to the last measure, coupled with a colorful instrumentation and various rhythmic surprises and twists.
