Wind Band - The Czech composer Bedrich Smetana was born on 2 March 1824 and his musical talent manifested itself already during his childhood. As a six year old, he already as pianist and eight years he ventured to composition. His entire musical oeuvre breathes the soul and spirit of the Czech people. Smetana is rightly regarded as the founder of modern Czech music. His compositions, especially his symphonic music and operas, among the great art values \u200b\u200bof the Czech people.
