The Seasons - Wind Band

Wind Band - The Seasons is a suite for narrator and concert band or fanfare band by Kazys Daugėla to the poem The Seasons by Kristijonas Donelaitis (1714-1780). The four parts of The Seasons are: I. The Spring's Joys, II. The Toils of Summer, III. The Autumn's Riches and IV. The Cares of Winter. Daugéla created the suite using native Lithuania Minor folk song melodies. Some of them are written almost 200 years ago.
