Tebje Pajom - Wind Band

Wind Band - In 1779 Bortniansky returned to St. Petersburg where he wrote operas and piano sonatas and songs. In 1796 he was appointed director of the imperial church choir which he reorganized and with which he gave concerts in the imperial chapel. The liturgical music he wrote for the Russian Orthodox worship combines Eastern and Western European influences. His Tebje Pajom is one of these religious songs.
