Symphony Nr. 8 - Part 4 - Wind Band
Wind Band - The Finale from his eighth symphonie.Antonin Dvorak composed his eighth symphony in September and October 1889 during his stay on the estate in Vysok. As in the first part of this symphony is the finale opens with trumpet signals, which later also the beginning of the Reprise mark. In this Final Dvorak has the sonata form and the variation form a fused unit, especially where the main theme, a broken G-major triad as a basis, the main carrier of the variation form. The reprise is no more surprising: the c-minor theme have ended and instead sounds daarvr so energetic main theme now lyrical, until the repetition of the second variation in the fortissimo of the full orchestra to carries a powerful finale.
