Sincerely Yours - Fanfare Band
Fanfare Band - Sincerely Yours was composed for the Frysk Fanfare Orkest and it’s conductor Jouke Hoekstra at the end of 2002.
This composition leans on two different basic ideas, both thematically and stylistically. Stilistically A light jazzy style with a lot of percussion and a classic writing style.
Thematically a thema based on Jouke Hoekstra's birth date (11 = Bb; 4 = Eb; 1 = C, etc.). And a second theme is based on the famous B-A-C-H monogram, with Pütz pushing the last two tones (C-H) halfway up (B-A-Reb-Do).
