Ruimtemuziek 2 - Wind Band

Wind Band - The arrangement of the orchestra is the same as Space Music 1. In this piece are "sensa-misura" passages interspersed with traditional music in sizes quoted portions. The sensa-misura sections with figures quoted in the same manner as in Space Music 1, and the conductor marked with finger-raise. The sizes quoted parts get customized figures and are conducted in the ordinary way. In this work we find guided improvisations of moving clusters and such alternating with blocky, spatial hoketus techniques, where the different groups vary spatially, so the phenomenon of space and place an effective structured compositional element. Space Music 1 and 2 are in manuscript and published, as you can read, compositions for the higher divisions fanfare orchestras experiment which entails not the way to go. This music takes a lot from both conductor and musician.
