Remember Me - Wind Band

Wind Band - The beautiful aria 'Remember me' comes from the opera "Dido and Aeneas" by Purcell. Dido, Queen of Carthage, marries the Trojan prince Aeneas, who violently in love with her. While Dido and Aeneas hunt forge an evil witch and her assistants plans to destroy Carthage and Dido to kill. An enchantress disguised as the god Mercury tells Aeneas that he must leave Carthage and to another piece of Latin territory should go. Aeneas Dido hate the thought that he must leave. However, he may not refuse a divine command. Aeneas finally decides to do the divine command to defy and Dido to stay. Yet Dido refuses to join a loved one to remain a moment had considered her to leave while singing this aria she dies.
