Pilatus: Mountain of Dragons - Fanfare Band
Fanfare Band - This programmatic work in the form of a symphonic poem opens as Mount Pilatus overnight sleep, shrouded in darkness, the summit as a mystery among the clouds high above the Swiss Lucerne place. When the dawn breaks, a group of courageous adventurers climb Mount Pilatus to search for dragons and kill them. After a difficult climb, where they enjoy the breathtaking views and the earthly beauty, the adventurers reach a cave. This cave is a sleeping dragon. They arouse the dragon and in a battle with the invaders attempting to defend his domain dragon. All adventurers are severely wounded by the dragon and they beg for mercy. The dragon shows great compassion and out of his hot breath he produces a magical stone called draconite. It heals his own wounds and those of the invaders. The people see the dragon now with completely different eyes and dragons now obtain tolerance in the hearts of the people of the valley Everyone realizes that the dragons and humans live side by side on Mount Pilatus in a peaceful and happy life.
