Now is the Month of Maying - Fanfare Band

Fanfare Band - A 3-piece suite, composed in 1989, commissioned by SAMO Netherlands. At this command was attached to the use of old folk melodies. After a brief introduction, the first national anthem, the English Now is the Month of Maying. The quiet second part consists of the old Dutch / Latin Dona Nobis Pacem, followed by the English folk song Wassail, wassail all over the town. Part 3 is based on an old Dutch national anthem, namely Well Annemarieke. This work was during the Frisian Fanfare Festival in 1994 compulsory work in the 3rd division.
