Norwegian Dances II and III - Wind Band
Wind Band - The Norwegian Dances Opus 35 were composed in 1881 in four-hand piano version. The orchestral version was only after the death of Grieg by the Prague conductor and composer Hans Sitt, who lived from 1850 to 1922. The melody and the orchestral sound give excellent atmosphere again of its own Norwegian folklore. The Dance II is a beautiful cantabile dance, while a lively Dance III "Spring Dance" is.
