Madiba - Wind Band

Wind Band - This march was commissioned to commemorate Nelson Mandela. The assignment: Compose an easily playable march in which a South African element is recognizable and cooperation between black and white South Africans is also audible. As a South African element a part of the South African well-known folk song Shosholoza is included. A two-part melodic line in the trio section displays the cooperation between the black and white population of South Africa.
