La Boutique Fantasque describes a toy store in the French city of Nice. Wealthy American and Russian tourists come to this shop to mechanical dolls to approve and buy. A few Neapolitan puppets dancing the Tarantella. Windscreen and Heart Woman dancing with Spade and Clover King of the mazurka. Furthermore let Russian Cossacks, a poodle and a Cancan-couple their skills. The tourists make their choice and will the next day to buy some dolls. The next day the tourists come to their dolls to collect. The shop is empty and the tourists have empty hands disappear. The dolls come suddenly reappeared and dancing joyfully the Cancan.
