Fanfare Band - Martin Luther, born 10 November 1483 in Eisleben and there on February 18, 1546 also died, was a very important German Protestant theologian and reformer. Started as Augustinian Monk (1506) that the sacrament of Holy Orders received (1507) he developed after his appointment in 1508 as professor of moral theology at the University of Wittenberg to d leading personality of the Reformation in the German Empire. The publication of his academic theses against the trade in indulgences on October 31, 1517 is the symbolic beginning of Protestantism.
