Imperial March - Fanfare Band

Fanfare Band - Queen Victoria (Alexandrina Victoria, 1819-1901) was the monarch of the United Kingdom and Ireland from 1837 until her death. To mark her Diamond Jubilee in 1897 English composer Edward Elgar was asked to write an appropriate work. Imperial March, originally written for Symphony Orchestra, quickly became popular in London because of its positive impact on the mood of the audience. The first performance took place at the Crystal Palace on April 19, 1897.
