Hymn for Mandela - Fanfare Band

Fanfare Band - This composition was written in memory of one of the most remarkable people of our time, Nelson Mandela. He has been an example and inspiration to many people over the world. During the apartheid regime he was kept prisoner for 27 years on Robben Island. In 1990 he was released and in 1994 he was elected president of South Africa. On December 5, 2013 Nelson Mandela died. He was praised for his simplicity and ability to forgive and reconcile.
