Fanfare Band - A selection from the famous 9th symphony of Dvorak.Antonin Dvorak was born on 09.08.1841 in the Czech town of Nelahozeves and died in Prague on 05.01.1904. In September 1892 Dvorak took his first steps on American soil. He came to New York to the position of Director coating the National Conservatory of Music. It was Dr. Dvorak that his first impression of Indian music got through compositions of white Americans. Also he listened to many American spirituals.In 1893 Dvorak composed his Symphony No. fourfold. 9 (opus 95), better known under the name From the New World. It is the most popular symphony that Dvorak wrote, strongly influenced by the spirituals and Native American music.
