Four Old Dances - Wind Band
Wind Band - This composition is intended primarily for orchestras from the lower divisions. The four individual particles have the title: 1) Bourre, 2) Sarabande; 3) Siciliano; 4) Rondo.De Bourré is a former French folk dance in a 2-part signature. Characteristic of this dance is the alternation between a quarter and eighth notes. The Sarabande is a dance of Mexican origin in triple time with a slow and stately character. This dance was mainly in the 17th and 18th century is very popular. A gently swaying dance in six-or twelve eighths signature and very popular in the 18th century the Siciliano, from Italy. The concluding rondo is a song whose theme as a chorus always returns while the spacers the verses always different.
