Flying in a Balloon - Fanfare Band

Fanfare Band - This work was composed at the request of the League of Limburg music groups. In this composition, a balloon flight depicted. After a fanfare-like opening - in which a small group of people come Ensemble - the balloon flight begins of the group. Already floating in the air you can experience various events. The pastures are grazing cows and sheep signaled. About fields and pastures you approach the city. Narrowly passes through the church and set in large grounds stands a circus tent. On hearing the music act there just some acrobats. High above the balloon flies a plane. This is very aptly portrayed by the trombones. Suddenly the balloon begins to fall, first slowly and then quickly, and comes in a storm. The percussion depicts the storm out during the storm. Subside during the storm begins Adagio. The balloonists have survived the storm and float relieved again. After a while the landing and deployed after an eventful flight puts one foot on solid ground again.
