Elias-Choral - Wind Band
Wind Band - Mendelssohn began around January 1845 his oratorio "Elijah". Simultaneously he worked, however, a symphony, a piano trio, six organ sonatas and incidental music. Thus, his oratorio ready until August 1846. This coral is one of the examples of Romanticism in this otherwise fairly unknown oratorio.
