Divertimento - Fanfare Band
Fanfare Band - In 1980/4 the famous Boston Symphony Orchestra for its centenary. To Leonard Bernstein was asked this anniversary luster to it. For that occasion he wrote his Divertimento, a declaration of love to the city of his youth. The Divertimento is a kind of musical poziealbum, full of personal memories of the city where Bernstein grew up and memories of the many concerts of the Boston Symphony and the Boston Pops as a boy he bezocht.Het Divertimento, consisting of a series thumbnail exists, is based on two tones: the Boston B and C of the Centennial (hundred-year celebration). The premiere of this eight-volume work took place on 09.25.1980 in the Symphony Hall in Boston by the Boston Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Seiji Ozawa.
