Fanfare Band - The story of De Leeuwenkuil is about the history of the village of Bergschenhoek. The Leeuwenkuil is the large peat excavation in the middle of Bergschenhoek and reminder of the past. The past tells of an excavated hunter and fishing camp, the heavy work of peat extraction and the important motivations of our time: nature and recreation.
