Fanfare Band - Crown Imperial is an orchestral march by the English composer William Walton. It was first performed at the coronation of King George VI in 1937.Walton composed the march originally for the coronation of King Edward VIII, on 12 May 1937. However, Edward abdicated the throne in 1936. On this day, Edward's brother George VI crowned. In 1953, the march overhauled and also performed at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.De march was again performed at the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton on April 29 2011.Bert Dirks made the arrangement for brass band.
