Cantique de Jean Racine - Wind Band

Wind Band - Fauré wrote Cantique de Jean Racine in 1865 at the age of 20. The text is derived from the prayer book of the Catholic Church and Fauré used a translation by the French playwright Jean Racine. Originally written for four-part mixed choir and organ, but later processed into several arrangements. Willy Hautvast made this instrumental arrangement for both harmony and fanfare.
