Aria della Battaglia - Wind Band

Wind Band - Gabrieli was organist at the famous St. Mark's Square in Venice. He wrote mainly piano music and liturgical music. This composition is a wonderful example of one of the few purely instru-language written compositions. The music is purely programmatic and describes and imitates the sounds of or in battle.
