A Steamy Ride - Wind Band

Wind Band - A Steamy Ride, commissioned by Koninklijke Muziekvereniging Prinses Juliana Klaaswaal, was completed at the end of 2024. In this area, the Hoeksche Waard, a steam tram was built in the period 1898 - 1904, which ran here until the years 1956 - 1957. This steam tram ran from Zuid-Beijerland via Numansdorp and Klaaswaal to Oud-Beijerland and then further via Barendrecht to Rotterdam. The imaginary musical journey with the steam tram starts in Klaaswaal, the place where the client was located.
