Fanfare band - With the song De Mallemolen Heddy Lester won the National Song Contest in 1977 in The netherlands, but at the Eurovision Song Contest of 1977 she finished 12th out of 18. The song was written by her brother Frank, the lyrics are by Wim Hogenkamp. The song is a ballad which compares life to a merry-go-round.
