Fanfare Band - Of Preachers and Presidents tells the history of the gospel and thus of the black American people. This piece is about the speeches of three American icons: Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King and Barack Obama. These speeches are still up-to-date, because is The Land of the Free real or is it only a(n American) dream? The composition is written for both wind band and fanfare band with choir and audio tape. The choir can be replaced by a narrator.
