Fanfare band - Once upon a time, in Geffen in Brabant, there was a banner bearer whom you might not immediately notice. A farmer's son, down-to-earth and simple, with mud on his clogs and a pair of expressive eyes that said more than a thousand words. And there he walked, always at the front of the fanfare band, the banner held proudly in his hand. Not because he wanted to be in the spotlight, but because it was simply part of who he was.
