Ave Maris Stella - Fanfare Band

Fanfare Band - Grieg wrote this hymn in 1893 for voice and piano accompaniment. In 1898 followed by a second version for mixed choir. This version was premiered on 30 January 1899 and was added to the To Religiøse Kor. This collection of songs is dedicated to the Caecilaforeningen, a choir from Copenhagen that premiered this version. The adaptation for wind band and fanfare band is based on the second version.
