Largo - Molto Allegro from Gran Partita - Ensemble

Ensemble - The Largo - Molto Allegro is the 1st movement from Mozart's Serenade in Bb from 1781. The Largo begins with a slow introduction in B-flat major in which tutti-dotted rhythms are juxtaposed with solos. This leads to the Molto Allegro, written in a monothematic sonata form. Bert Willemsen has adapted it for woodwinds.
