Elementa - Brass Band

Brass Band - In 2019 the municipality of Altena was created by the merger of the Brabant municipalities of Woudrichem, Werkendam and Aalburg. Elementa was commissioned on this occasion. Leon Vliex made this composition on behalf of JA! Youthfanfare Altena. Elementa represents both the merging of the individual municipalities and a number of characteristic features of that area. These meanings take shape on the basis of the four elements of nature: water, earth, wind and fire.
