Concentus Claustralis e Soncino - Wind Band
Wind Band - Faith is always a source of inspiration for any form of art, and the same goes for music.
For the composer Giancarlo Locatelli born and living in Soncino (Italy) are the first religious memories as a child the Sunday Mass and the choir. Now as an adult corpses sounds buried by thousands of concerts, listening sessions and ads that sometimes passively undergo. But that first religious memories are important when he is about to compose a piece.
The first theme played by euphonium is a motif in Doric style and comes from the thoughts of his youth. In the second movement (Allegro) is the theme further, with a harmonic background. During the third and last part, there is a return of the opening theme by the orchestra as a Grandioso is performed. At the end plays the oboe again the opening theme, ending the piece.
